can i have a break-down the pricing and process?

The cost of a package takes into account many different factors. Costs are not just limited to the actual session and time it takes to complete the shoot. We calculate the costs for culling and editing time, transportation, softwares and services, equipment, and all the behind the scenes that go on before and after a shoot. It is our hope however, that you don’t need to worry about the nitty gritty and can just enjoy the experience of getting to know us and having your life moments captured. See Pricing for more details.

what is required to book?

We require a signed contract and $500 non-refundable initial payment to book for weddings. For all others shoots, a signed contract and 50% non-refundable initial payment is required.

when and what do you eat?

Food fuels us to work! For weddings, we appreciate being saved a serving/vendor meal for the primary and secondary photographer. We usually eat at the same time the bride and groom is served so that we can be present to capture important moments.

how would you describe your style?

My approach is photojournalistic in nature, with a hint of editorial/fine art. We look for real emotions and meaningful moments, not just showing up to snap some pretty pictures. We want to work alongside you to tell your story in a way that represents who you are. This is reflected in the editing style as well, producing light-filled, natural, storytelling imagery.

what is your turnaround time?

For all sessions, we send over a sneak peek gallery of 10-15 images within 48 hours! For engagements and small events, the turnaround time for the full gallery is 2-3 weeks. For weddings, you can expect to receive the final images in 4-6 weeks.

how many images do we receive?

For a typical wedding with full day coverage, you will receive 600+ images fully processed and edited. Every session or wedding is different, but typically you can expect to receive 60-75 photos/hour. See Pricing for details on Couple Sessions and Intimate Weddings.

what kind of sessions do you offer?

All things love & life! Even though I focus primarily on couples, I do love photographing families and portraits as well. Reel me in on the fun! See A La Carte under “Pricing” for more details.

what's a second shooter?

A second shooter works under Anna Ger Photography and their primary focus is to assist. You will usually see a second shooter on a wedding day. On the day of a wedding, they are there to help the primary shooter catch other angles or be somewhere when the primary can't be in two places at once (ex: groomsmen photos). All other details and editing are taken care of by Anna, as the primary shooter.

will i receive any raw files?

You will not receive any unedited RAW files. All images will be checked for quality and consistency. You will receive edited images in high resolution for printing and web-sized resolution for online sharing via a private online gallery.

what kind of travel fees apply?

Typically, travel fees will apply after 20 miles for sessions and 45 miles for weddings. For destination weddings, 2 plane tickets, two nights of accommodation, and transportation are required for myself and a second shooter. To find out more, please inquire through the contact page.

what is the process like upon booking?

After booking your session, you’ll receive a questionnaire that will help me get to know you and sort out all the logistics. We’ll need a detailed timeline and response to the questionnaire 2 weeks prior to a session, or 4 weeks prior to a wedding. Throughout the process, I am available via email to answer any questions or updates.
